Living willow structures
The live willow structures are made with the willow harvested in December/January. The bunches of willow are put in a basin with the feet in water for 3-4 months, in this time they grow roots and sprout leaves. This willow is then planted and woven together to make live structures of various shapes and sizes.

Dome
As time passes, the original willow planted in a circle grows more branches, these are woven together to close the top of the circle and form a dome ( 5m diameter) . Each winter the branches that are not woven into the dome are trimmed off. During the summer the dome offers a shady picnic spot. It is possible to see the dome when visiting our workshop.
